Shannon comes from a science background, with a BSc in Nutrition from the University of Guelph as well as a Masters of Pharmacy from The University of Brighton in the United Kingdom. She knows that sleep is an important biological process for all humans, especially for children who require it for proper growth and brain development.
As a first time Mom, she never imagined she would struggle in motherhood. She had read countless baby books and taken so many classes in preparation. When her gorgeous little boy arrived, he was perfect, but by 4 months old he still would not sleep longer than 2 hours no matter what she tried. Her baby was cranky from lack of sleep, and she too was exhausted and completely overwhelmed. She researched sleep training and decided to give it a try. Shannon could not believe the world of difference it made for not only her baby, but for her! She was energized, happier and was able to give her best self to her baby. Now as a mother of two amazing sleepers, she wants to give the gift of sleep to other families who may be finding themselves exhausted and overwhelmed.
Shannon loves working with people and is extremely thorough. She understands the challenges that come with being a parent and can empathize with many people’s situations. Shannon believes every parent should be able to experience the joy that a happy, well-rested and thriving child can bring. Parenting is difficult but sleep doesn’t have to be! Shannon looks forward to giving you and your child the rest that you deserve.
